Fall is here...
Fall is here. The days are shorter, the weather is crisper (though these last few days have been incredible) and pumpkins and changing leaves abound. I love fall. Cool weather, football, beautiful trees... by the way, this is Brian again. We had a great day trip to Santa Cruz a couple weeks back and we we went out to a harvest fest last weekend (Sadie loved the pumpkins while Zeke just loved being outside and around loud noise). So I hope you enjoy the pics.
And a little update on the kiddos...
It is hard to believe that Zeke will soon be 6 months old. He is all over the place, wiggling around on the floor, scooting backwards, rolling from front to back and back to front, and today was SOOOO close to wanting to crawl. His brown hair is a thing of the past and he is now a blondie just like his sister. He is quick to grin, even quicker to drool (and chooses to constantly), and refuses to stay in a seated position (loves standing... with us holding him of course). He is nuts about the water... pool, bath, ocean... doesn't matter. One thing is certain, he LOVES his sister. His face lights up when he merely hears her voice and he is continually laughing at her!
And as for Sadie, such a little girl. Her vocabulary continues to grow and even though the usage is not always correct, her pure repertoire is impressive. Of late, she had a a run in with the ocean (turned her back and got a wave that took her legs out, luckily the water was only 6 inches deep and mom was right there), a run in with a goose (again! I am thinking that her hair must attract them or something, but I think she might be getting an anti-goose complex) and helped me plant some new flowers around the yard. She loves our weekly date to Jamba or Donuts (her choice, and it does vary, and occaisionally we splurge for both!) and still will eat beets over any other veggie (I know...) She loves sleeping in her new sleeping bag (compliments of Mimi and Pops) and she is a sponge with all music. Seriously, that girl must know the words to 20 songs. And luckily, 10 of them are from the "Seeds of Faith" CD from her Nana, helping her learn some great Bible verses this early!
I hope ya'lls October is rolling along with as much fun and peace as ours is here...
Brian
Here is one from Santa Cruz...
And a couple great ones from the pumpkin patch!
