Hirosaki trip (May)

We visited Hirosaki a week after Brian got home from his first trip on the EP3's. Sadie was 2 months old here. We went with our friends Jen and Dan Blauwkamp and their son Nathaniel, who is 5 weeks older than Sadie. Dan was gone at the same time as Brian, and so Jen (we call her JB) was so much help to me, and I hope I to her while the guys were gone. Hirosaki is famous for its cherry blossom trees. Unfortunately we got there a week late for the best ones, but it was still beautiful. It was so fun to travel with friends too.

Sadie got a little cold, her first one. She was all snotty, but such a trooper. These Japanese ladies talked to us for a long time, admiring our blond children and Sadie was nice enough to blow them a big snot bubble. They cracked up!
