Arrived In Misawa

After 3 long days of traveling we are here! We left Dallas on Saturday morning, got to Tokyo on Sunday afternoon, and flew to Misawa on Monday afternoon. Pretty rough travel!
The weather was nice the day we got here, then turned much worse. It snowed over 36 inches in the next week! Needless to say it was the most snow we had ever seen! And the roads... let's just say the Japanese do not know about salt or plows! It is like driving on an iceskating rink! Thank goodness for 4wd and snow tires.
